Job Description Responsible for the concept, design and documentation of manufacturing tooling and equipment required to effect manufacturing processes IAW production rate requirements. Duties include development of work instructions and tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling/equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item. Design/documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Pro-Engineer.
Basic Qualifications -Knowledgeable of Machine/Tool Design
-Knowledgeable of General Manufacturing Processes
-Knowledgeable of Engineering Materials
-Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
-Proficiency with Pro-Engineer or comparable CAD System
-Proficient with MSOffice suite
-Knowledgeable of Welding Processes and Welding Techniques
Desired skills -Knowledgeable of specifications applicable to Weld Processing
-Knowledgeable of Weld Fitting Processes
-Knowledgeable of Metallurgy and troubleshooting techniques applicable to Metallurgical Failures
-Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
-Knowledgeable of Composite Winding Processes
-Proficiency with ANSI Y14.5
