Job Description:
- Install, trouble shoot and repair electrical wiring and avionics equipment
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Coordinate with Shift Lead and Engineering on changes to blueprints and diagrams
- Run and Mark wire to install complex wiring and electrical systems
- Perform routine checkouts after work has been completed
- Trouble shoot avionics system on board aircraft and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Perform lab bench checks, to include analysis, repair and calibration of avionics electrical equipment
Other duties may be assigned.Interior Aircraft Mechanic
Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels regarding all jobrelated issues both verbally and in writing.
- Must have working knowledge of Avionics systems and their operation and the proven ability to troubleshoot basic problems.
- Must have broad, overall knowledge of other aircraft systems e.g. hydraulic, flight controls, etc. and major components.
- Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions such as add, subtract, divide in units of measure and ability to compute rate, rations and percentages.
- Demonstrated ability to research proper handtools utilizing standard wiring practices manuals.
- Airframe license is desired.
